the field

I have been meaning to get to ‘the field’ for early evening photos for a while now.  Sadly, I’ve already let the pretty yellow wildflowers come and go.

We were on our way home, and I commented to my daughter how nice the light was at 7pm.

“Mom, you have your camera.  I have on a dress.  Let’s go to the field!”  (It’s really close to home)

So, we did.  Thank you youngest for the idea!  Lucky me - I had my camera. 

Unfortunately we missed the full orange glow I was hoping to capture, but we came pretty close.

And we did NOT venture close to the farmhouse – saw snake holes in the field.  No thanks! (not in flip flops anyway!)
